Key Responsibilities: As a Risk Assurance Manager, you will:

  • Plan and lead the delivery of various IT risk and cyber security related projects.
  • Understand and document client’s key business processes, underlying business applications, and IT controls.
  • Perform risk assessments and prioritize identified risks.
  • Review client’s IT policies, procedures, and governance structures for compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide continuous quality assurance and project management services for client system implementations.
  • Conduct various IT reviews including ERP and core banking system control reviews, information security reviews, data analysis, financial statement testing, disaster recovery, business continuity reviews, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and cyber security maturity assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different competencies within the firm.
  • Manage staff competency development, engagement resourcing, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing IT risk assurance and corporate governance services.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, report-writing, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to innovate, think laterally, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Proven team management skills, including coaching and development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and non-financial systems, platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with auditing and assurance standards, financial statement assertions, and IT controls.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior clients and contributing to business development efforts.
