Job Summary: As Brewery Logistics Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the logistics operations at the Depot, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehousing and transportation. You will play a crucial role in aligning operations with the T2 Logistics Strategy and Distribution Process Optimization process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to drive continuous improvement and foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage employees to maintain a positive industrial relations climate, including roster management and ensuring punctuality and attendance.
• Develop engagement plans and set achievable and challenging KPIs for direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with logistics DPO and VPO requirements to achieve targets.
• Manage contractors against service level agreements and foster productive partnerships.
• Develop business plans aligned with guidelines, analyze customer service results, and implement plans to enhance service delivery.
• Oversee financial management, including budget development, expenditure control, and financial optimization opportunities.
• Ensure optimal fleet management, including engagement with suppliers, adherence to legislation, and monitoring of key performance indicators.
• Manage company assets, review internal governance processes, and conduct regular stock counts.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure stock availability and quality.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• A relevant 3-year tertiary degree/diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
• 3+ years of experience in an operational FMCG or similar environment, with at least 3 years in a warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire teams, manage performance, and resolve conflicts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
• Knowledge of shipping, freight, and forwarding practices, as well as financial and legal requirements associated with exporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office at an advanced level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
