Summary: Are you passionate about entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion? ENGIE Energy Access is seeking dynamic and disciplined Telesales Representatives to join our team. As a Telesales Representative, you will play a crucial role in customer acquisition and onboarding, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Pitch Engie products to the target market for customer base growth
  • Market products and generate sales leads
  • Acquire new customers over the phone
  • Provide top-notch customer onboarding
  • Educate customers about product use, installation, and payment methods
  • Interpret Loan Agreements for customers to ensure understanding
  • Drive revenue generation through sales and repayment
  • Cross/up-sell to existing customers
  • Deliver positive customer experiences in all interactions
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
  • Report any suspected fraud or issues to management
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Call Centre team lead
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety practices

Product Knowledge:

  • Learn all product details, specifications, prices, and capabilities
  • Provide accurate product information to customers
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of customer finance agreements
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills

Sales / Cross Selling:

  • Identify new sales leads through rapport with existing customers
  • Communicate leads to the sales team
  • Cross-sell to existing customers

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other duties assigned by the line manager

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Computer literacy
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in teams
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Influencing and negotiation skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any relevant field

Language(s):

  • Must speak Luganda and any of the following languages:
    • Lusoga
    • Lumasaba
    • Ateso, Kumam
    • Kupsabiny
    • Lugbara

Technology:

  • Proficient in computer skills

Experience:

  • No specific requirements

Work Hours: 8 hours/day
