Summary: Darling Uganda is seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating stunning hairstyles using both basic and advanced techniques, consulting with clients on their hair care needs, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train and onboard new team members in hair styling techniques.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Provide personalized consultations to clients, recommending suitable hair care products and treatments.
• Stay informed about current hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and workshops.
• Ensure proper maintenance of hair care equipment and tools.
• Manage inventory of hair care products, ordering and restocking as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of client services while respecting confidentiality.
• Stay updated on industry competition and trends to inform business strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing and research teams to promote brand products and develop new offerings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in cosmetology or hairdressing.
• Certification in hair styling required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a hairstylist.

Key Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive research on hair-related topics.
• Extensive knowledge of hair care products, tools, and techniques.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day

Education Level: Associate Degree
