Summary:
Total Energies is seeking a Performance and OSEQ Leader with a strong background in engineering and management. The successful candidate will oversee various aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, operations, and management within the Drilling & Well division.
Candidate Profile:
- Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of international experience in drilling and/or completion engineering, with at least 3 years of exposure to operations.
- Experience in a Method, digital, or HSE position is advantageous.
- Demonstrated management skills with contract management experience.
- Competencies in drilling, completion, and well interventions.
- Strong problem analysis, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
HSE:
- Set up HSE objectives for the Drilling & Well division.
- Promote HSE on-site to improve performance.
- Report KPIs, anomalies, or incidents and participate in their analysis.
- Manage downgraded situations and ensure the implementation of the Site Response Plan.
- Coordinate with the HSE Division and monitor contractor’s HSE performance.
Quality:
- Plan and participate in SQMs.
Operations and Management:
- Instruct and follow D&W related derogations.
- Develop contingency plans and maintain contact with the Total Well Response team.
- Develop risk registers and ensure the adequacy of personnel, equipment, and services.
Recruitment & Training:
- Collaborate with HR on job descriptions and participate in candidate interviews.
- Organize induction meetings and monitor mandatory training for staff.
Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree with 36 months of experience.
