The Role:
As an Operations Analyst, you will embark on a journey to optimize Glovo’s operations in Uganda by:

• Understanding operational challenges to enhance fleet strategy and maximize metrics improvements.
• Driving Operational Excellence through various levers such as courier profitability, supply-demand balance, delivery time optimization, and logistics feature implementation.
• Leading projects aimed at metric enhancement from raw data analysis to solution execution.
• Championing new ideas to improve operations aligned with Glovo’s KPIs.
• Creating postmortem documents for project analysis and replication.
• Utilizing data visualization skills to efficiently convey messages.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Head of Operations of Kenya and Uganda.
• Coordinate with colleagues to improve Glover lifecycle, particularly during peak demand periods.
• Forecast and enhance supply at a city level across multiple locations.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of analytics experience with a passion for problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; intermediate level of SQL is advantageous.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics preferred.
• Basic-intermediate level Python knowledge is desirable.
• Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and/or Qlikview.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and empathetic mindset.
