Job Description: As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote our products/services and increase brand awareness. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to generate leads and drive revenue growth. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can develop compelling marketing campaigns and initiatives tailored to our target audience in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives.
2. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and keep abreast of industry trends.
3. Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website.
4. Manage the company’s social media accounts and engage with followers to build brand loyalty.
5. Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials and support lead generation efforts.
6. Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance.
7. Stay up-to-date with digital marketing tools and techniques and implement best practices.
8. Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed for marketing projects.
9. Monitor competitor activity and adjust marketing strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, preferably in the [specific industry or sector].
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Knowledge of the Ugandan market and consumer behavior is a plus.
