Summary:
Tugende, a leading finance company in Uganda, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Marketing Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance Tugende’s market presence and drive company growth. This role reports directly to the Head of Business Support.

Through asset finance, technology, and a customer-centric approach, Tugende empowers informal sector entrepreneurs to achieve economic stability and growth. With a focus on providing financial solutions and support services, Tugende has financed over 70,000 clients and operates across multiple branches in Uganda and Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage brand communication and co-branding activities with partners
• Oversee marketing campaign planning, implementation, and effectiveness monitoring
• Lead social media management and digital marketing initiatives
• Provide input on customer insights and translate them into marketing strategies
• Support team development and ensure effective execution of marketing activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, with proven strategic marketing expertise
• Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 3 years of team management experience
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience managing social media platforms preferred
