JOB DETAILS:
CVPeople Tanzania is seeking an objective Internal Auditor to enhance and optimize our client’s operations through a systematic and disciplined approach to risk management, control, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct and oversee the entire audit cycle, managing risk and control effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with applicable directives and regulations.
• Define internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
• Gather, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
• Prepare and deliver reports reflecting audit results and document processes.
• Offer independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
• Identify loopholes and propose risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Maintain transparent communication with management and the audit committee.
• Document processes and prepare audit findings memorandum.
• Perform follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
• Pursue continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably in the banking sector.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Ability to handle large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
• Demonstrated knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Sound independent judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
