Job Summary:
C-Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant/Nursing Aid to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in patient care and other ward-related duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires working closely with qualified nursing staff to ensure continuity of patient care, adhering to hospital policies, and keeping up-to-date with ward and hospital developments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Work closely with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay updated with ward and hospital developments.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
• Learn and update new skills as necessary.

Requirements and Competencies:

• Certificate of training as a nursing assistant.
• Previous experience as a Nursing Auxiliary within the hospital setting or in a Care Home.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform personal care for patients.
• Ability to read and write and document care to a good standard.
• Pleasant personality with the ability to work well in a team.
• High level of commitment and flexibility.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day
