JOB DETAILS:
Roofings Group, the premier manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa, is in search of a highly motivated and technically experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and circuits using devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and local codes.
• Conduct timely troubleshooting and root cause analysis during breakdowns.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for factory electrical equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate tools.
• Repair and replace wiring equipment, including connecting power cables to motors.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by all employees.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as an Electrical Technician in a similar work environment.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Proficiency with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Excellent technical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong team player mentality.
