As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking talented and skilled Electrical Technicians to join our team. Position: Electrical Technician Number of Vacancies: 5

Job Location: Kampala, Uganda

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
2. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics to identify root causes of malfunctions.
3. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to implement improvements and upgrades to electrical infrastructure.
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
4. Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
8. Valid electrical technician license or certification is a plus.
