JOB PURPOSE
The Credit Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing business liquidity by implementing effective credit control procedures, ensuring timely debt collection, and addressing daily customer concerns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Opening credit accounts for customers
• Managing debt collection and accounts
• Regularly visiting credit customers
• Reconciling credit customer accounts
• Ensuring timely delivery of invoices and statements
• Daily management of cash accounts
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues
• Maintaining an accurate debtors’ database

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field
• At least 2 years’ experience in customer handling

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Proficiency in basic accounting principles
• Competence in using MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Analytical mindset
• Solution-oriented with innovation
• Exceptional communication abilities
