Summary:
NLS Waste Services is in search of a seasoned Credit Control Officer with a proven track record in debt recovery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our team, responsible for identifying and prioritizing outstanding debts, devising effective strategies for debt recovery, and implementing solutions to ensure prompt resolution.

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in debt collection and financial management.
• Proficient in report writing and business development.
• Proficiency in motorcycle riding with a valid riding permit.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers with outstanding balances and negotiate payment terms.
• Address objections to payment and propose customer-friendly payment alternatives.
• Negotiate extended payment plans and advise customers on debt management.
• Identify and pursue new sales leads, closing deals as required.
• Prepare accurate aging reports for management review.
• Collaborate with management and team members to optimize debt recovery strategies.

Work Hours: 8 hours/day

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
