Position: Invitation to Tender – Proposed Refurbishment Works

About Us:
Kenya High Commission-Kampala is a diplomatic mission representing the Republic of Kenya in Uganda. We are dedicated to fostering bilateral relations and promoting the interests of Kenya within Uganda. Currently, we are seeking qualified contractors to undertake refurbishment works at our Chancery and Residence premises located in Kampala.

Job Description:
We invite sealed tenders for the construction of Proposed Refurbishment Works to Kenya High Commission Chancery and Residence at Plot 3 Upper Kololo Terrace and Plot 10 Mbuya Road in Kampala, Uganda.

Requirements:

• Interested contractors must obtain tender documents from our website or the Kenya High Commission-Kampala office during office hours.
• Tenders must be quoted in Uganda Shillings and inclusive of all taxes.
• Tenders shall remain valid for 140 days from the date of opening.
• All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security equivalent to 1% of the tender sum.
• Tender documents must be serialized chronologically.
• A mandatory pre-tender site visit is scheduled for May 6, 2024, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Completed tenders must be physically delivered to the Kenya High Commission-Kampala office before May 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Electronic tenders will not be accepted.
• Late tenders will be rejected.
