Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
• Efficiently scan and bag merchandise at the checkout counter.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and check transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly.
• Record all transactions accurately in the system.
• Conduct cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cashiering or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in handling cash transactions with accuracy.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
