Responsibilities:

As the Administration & Records Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and Administration. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing leadership to a team offering administrative support.
  • Ensuring smooth office operations including office equipment, stationery provision, and office cleanliness.
  • Managing logistical arrangements for international visitors and local staff traveling out of Uganda.
  • Overseeing assets management processes, including acquisition, tagging, and disposal.
  • Managing records from creation to destruction and ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Facilitating international travel logistics for visitors and staff.
  • Managing office security and safety measures.
  • Petty cash management ensuring compliance with procedures and timely reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Data and records management skills.
  • Team player with people management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in adapting to new technology and IT systems.
  • Knowledge of current legislation regarding records management.
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
