Duty Station/No. of vacancies: Law Development Centre Mbale campus
Job Purpose:
To teach the prescribed subject and offer professional advice to students in the allocated subject(s).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaching the prescribed subject or subjects.
- Setting and marking examinations.
- Marking Individual Assessments.
- Presiding over moots.
- Invigilation of examinations.
- Meeting with and advising students.
- Supervising students during clerkship and writing clerkship reports.
- Attending pre-teaching meetings.
- Any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
i. Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hon) degree.
ii. Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
iii. Masters in Law- LLM shall be an added advantage.
iv. Must be an enrolled Advocate of the High Court of Uganda.
v. At least six (6) years’ work experience as a private or public legal practitioner.
